Bringing the design to life
This project involved the complete refurbishment of a family bathroom. From day one, the goal was simple: deliver the design exactly as intended, with no compromises. The Solitaire team worked closely with Leann to fully understand the vision, review the technical details, and ensure every element could be executed to the highest standard.
Careful planning and close collaboration
Early collaboration was key to making this project run smoothly. Before work began on site, we spent time reviewing the layout, checking spatial constraints, and confirming service routes and build-ups.
Particular attention was given to bespoke finishes, brassware, tolerances, and the overall layering of floors, walls, and the shower enclosure. This detailed planning meant there were no surprises during installation and the design could be realised with confidence.
Thoughtful strip-out and site protection
Before removing the existing bathroom, we carefully protected the surrounding areas of the home, including floors, access routes, and adjacent rooms. Dust control was maintained throughout the strip-out process. The original bathroom was then removed back to a clean shell, giving us a solid starting point to rebuild the space from the ground up. We dispose of the bathroom and waste through Biffa and Dunmow Waste who separate all waste into different recylclables.
Precision installation and an excellent result
The new bathroom was installed fully in line with the approved design, with close attention paid to alignment, finishes, and detailing at every stage. The works included precision plumbing, a walk-in shower with bespoke glass and brass detailing, a wall-hung WC with concealed cistern, a floating vanity unit with integrated basin, feature wall finishes, and carefully coordinated lighting and cabinetry.
Each stage was checked against the design drawings, resulting in a beautifully finished space that reflects the original vision – and, most importantly, a client who was genuinely delighted with the outcome.
