Solitaire are delighted to be one of the official sponsors of this year’s Maldon Classic Car show which takes place on Sunday September 14th at the fantastic Promenade Park.

“As a local business supporting events like this means a lot to the team,” said Solitaire’s Director, Paul.

“We love getting involved, giving back to the community we work in and having some fun while we’re at it! This is the second event in our special 10th Anniversary year that we have supported locally. Back in May being part of the famous Maldon Mud Race was an exhilerating day for all the team.

“It’s set to be another great day out for the whole family, filled with stunning vintage vehicles, entertainment, food and bags of community spirit, and we’re proud to be part of it.

“On the day itself, you’ll find us set-up in the amphitheatre. We’ll be easy to spot with our branded vans, be sure to stop by for a chat, pick-up some top tips from the team for your home, and maybe even take part in a bit of friendly competition with our game.

“We’ve built a homemade version of the classic buzzer game – but with a twist. Ours is inspired by the flame in our logo, and let’s just say, it’s trickier than it looks. Think you’ve got a steady hand and Superman’s nerves of steel to complete it?!

“It’s just £1 a go, and all the proceeds will go to the Maldon Mudrace charity bucket – supporting local causes.

We’re really looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and new ones. Whether you’re a classic car enthusiast, or a local resident looking for a great day out, we hope you’ll swing by and say hello.”
