Greater reassurance for our customers

We’ve got a couple of new accreditation badges to add to the Solitaire name, giving our customers even more reassurance that they are choosing a professional, properly accredited company to work in their home. Solitaire is now CHAS certified and a TrustMark Registered Business, two recognised standards that look at both how we operate behind the scenes and the service our customers receive.

What does it mean for us?

Achieving CHAS certification meant demonstrating that we have the correct health and safety systems, procedures, insurance and working practices in place.

It wasn’t simply a paperwork exercise either. We had to provide evidence of how we manage health and safety across the business, including staff training, qualifications, risk assessments and the procedures our team follow day to day.

TrustMark is more focused on the customer experience. It is the Government Endorsed Quality Scheme for work carried out in and around the home, and Registered Businesses must meet recognised standards for technical competence, customer service and good trading practices.

Both accreditations involved a detailed assessment of the way Solitaire operates and provide independent reassurance that the standards we work to have been properly checked.

What does it mean for you?

Inviting somebody into your home to carry out work involves a lot of trust, particularly if you haven’t used that company before.

You want to know that the engineers arriving at your door are properly trained, that they will work safely and professionally, and that there is a reputable business behind them if you ever need further support.

Our CHAS certification and TrustMark registration give our customers another layer of independent reassurance that Solitaire has been assessed against recognised industry standards.

Looking after our customers and doing the job properly has always been important to us. These accreditations don’t change the way we work, but it is nice to have independent recognition of the standards we already expect from ourselves and our team.
